    FEATURES

The One Shoulder Tank sewing pattern combines wide binding with our 2 most popular t-shirt silhouettes: semi-fitted & flared with hem band.

It has been intentionally designed it to give maximum coverage across the décolletage.

You can even add a beautiful ruffle along the neckline of your tank.

Make this versatile tank a standout in your wardrobe. Pair it with everything from skirts and denim to tailored trousers or palazzo pants.

Watch the video to see it is worn with so many of our other patterns.

    • Asymmetrical one shoulder design.

    SIZING
    • Size 4-30.
    • View our size chart here.

    FABRIC & TRIMS
    • View fabric requirements here
    • Designed for 4-way stretch knit fabrics.
    • Fabric suggestions include Cotton lycra, Viscose or rayon elastane knits, Bamboo & Modal elastane knits, Stretch knit crepe, Poly elastane knits, Double brushed poly (DBP), Single brushed poly (SBP), Athletic knit, Swim spandex. ITY is not suitable for binding/bands.
    • Bindings must have elastane (or Lycra or Spandex) & good recovery.

SHELF BRA: In the Get Creative section of the tutorial, you'll find instructions on how to add a shelf bra.

A shelf bra is more like a crop top. It will not provide the same support that a bra is engineered to give. It's still pretty awesome though. Wear the tank/shelf bra combo braless or, my personal preference, with a strapless bra underneath the shelf bra. I find that the shelf bra helps hold that up. As an added bonus, a shelf bra can help smooth out the lines from the bra.

Most important is to ensure binding/band fabric has matched or greater resilience than both main & shelf bra fabrics.

    • Shelf bra suggestions include self fabric & swim lining.
    • 2.5-4cm (1-1.5") elastic if adding shelf bra.

Great pattern. Easy to sew and the binding video is just fantastic. I graded a size 16 upper bust to an 18 over the hips and it fits perfectly.
