We recommend 4-way stretch knit fabrics when sewing this skirt. You can use 2 way stretch knit just keep in mind that you'll need a 4-way stretch knit for the waistband.

Heartlight Skirt wins my Heart ![User picture]()
I love this skirt pattern. Designed for knit rabrics, it was such an easy sew, with only 3 pattern pieces. Fitted on the waist, the yoga waist band makes it so comfy, and it sits nice and flat.
The skirt has enough flare at the bottom, to swish when I walk. I am equally comfortable wearing this skirt with a sandal, a sneaker, and I'm sure, when the cooler weather hits, a boot will transition my look through the season.
I already have fabric ready to make several more. This one is made in DTY.
Definitely recommend the Heartlight A-line skirt to others.

Perfect little swishy skirt
This A-line skirt is perfect for me since I love the swish factor! This was a very quick sew, but still manages to look classy. I used a soft cotton lycra. This skirt design is perfect for showing off large prints since there are so few seams. Couldn't be happier!

Stylish quick and easy sew
This is my first PE make. Clear and concise instructions and such a quick and easy sew! I made the maxi length and it fits perfectly and looks really elegant. Highly recommended!

Love it!
I got this pattern for my grown up daughter. Love that there is a tall cut line so no wasting time -just cut and sew! I will be making many more for her - a very quick, easy and satisfying make. Can't wait to make more PE patterns.
