The Foxy Legs are semi-relaxed like a jogger, designed for much more than just sport.

Neither tight nor baggy, they are the ultimate lounge pant that actually look great on the body. With a tapered cuffed leg, ours come in 1/2, 3/4 & full length.

You might know them as track pants, trackies, trackie dacks, joggers or sweat pants.

Yes they have pockets!

Designed to be made from stretch knit fabrics, the Foxy Legs pants fit snugly around the butt with comfortable, streamlined legs.

With 4 different waistband options to choose from, the mid rise waistband sits just below the waist, whilst the low rise sits on the lower waist.

Finished with a cuff, these are the perfect knit pants for every day (and night) of the week.

This pattern would also make fabulous loungewear pants for lounging around at home or pyjamas (pajamas PJs), making it the perfect addition to your loungewear pattern collection.

FABRIC: Designed for 4-way stretch knit fabrics.

STRETCH FACTOR: 50-100% horizontal stretch & a minimum of 25% vertical stretch.

FABRIC SUGGESTIONS include Swimwear/Leggings Spandex, Boo! Spandex, Double Brushed Polyester, Rayon Elastane, Rayon Bamboo Elastane, Cotton Elastane (Lycra), French Terry, Ponte, Stretch Velour. For more fabric information, see page 8 of the tutorial.

TRIMS:

Topstitched waistband: Good quality 40mm (1.5”) elastic. This is important so it doesn’t stretch when you topstitch it. I recommend Boo! Design elastic (Australia).
Optional: drawstring, drawstring toggles/cordlocks.
Covered waistband: 40mm (1.5”) elastic.
Exposed/Decorative waistband: Coloured or decorative elastic.

Great for PJs

Very comfy . Easy pattern

Great joggers

This is my first PE pattern. I made classic black joggers in soft sweat fabric. I made the size 6 grading to an 8 in the waist. I also raised the rise slightly (personal preference). These alterations were not necessary and I will make a straight 6 next time. I am very small through the hips and thighs, so they are fairly roomy, compared to how they look on most people. Very comfy. Pattern instructions were easy to follow.

Living the Foxy life

Where have these pants been all my life? I was living in the several pairs of Foxy Legs I’d made, until I lost a lot of weight and there was a risk of sneezing and having them fall to the floor! 😂 Since not being able to wear them, making more in my new size became a priority because of all my clothes they were the ones I missed the most. Fortunately I can whip up a pair, with pockets, in under 2 hours on my regular sewing machine. This is an essential pattern. If you don’t have it, you need it now.
