Sew the All Good Asymmetric Tee in 3 Easy Sessions

Sew the All Good Asymmetric Tee in 3 Easy Sessions

Okay, in reality the sewing part is 1 day.... that's how quick it is. Read on to find out more.

The All Good Asymmetric Tee is your everyday tee with that standout asymmetric hemline. Build your perfect version quickly & easily. Choose from the different neckline options, have a bit of fun with sleeves. This is a quick, satisfying sew, which makes it perfect for this series.

We’ve broken it into three easy sessions. Day 1 to get familiar with the pattern, Day 2 for prep and cutting, and Day 3 for sewing it all together. If you need to, you can break that final session into smaller chunks or, if you’ve got the time, sew a few at once.

Before you begin, take a few minutes to sit down with a cuppa and read through the information pages and sewing steps. It’s a simple step, but it helps everything come together smoothly and sets you up for a great result. That’s why we’ve made it Session 1.

Let’s get started. Download the printable pdf guide here.

Session 1 | Getting Familiar

  1. Read through info pages.
  2. Read through sewing steps.
  3. Measure yourself; choose your size.
  4. Print/tape pattern where required.

Session 2 | Cut out all pieces, mark notches, prepare interfacing.

  1. Cut out all your fabric pieces.
  2. Mark all notches.

Session 3 | Sewing*

*You can break these up into sessions if you prefer.

  1. Sew shoulders, add sleeves & sewing sides seams (Steps 1-9).
  2. Prepare & add neck band (Steps 10-18).
  3. Hems (Steps 19-33).

You’ve finished your All Good

That was quick, wasn’t it?

Whether you sewed it over a few days or powered through in one go, you’ve now made your own All Good Asymmetric Tee and chances are, you’re already thinking about the next one.

It’s one of those pieces that fits straight into your wardrobe. Easy to wear, easy to style, and just a little bit different.

We’d love to see your version. Share your make in the Pattern Emporium Sewing Circle on Facebook. And if you did batch sew a few, definitely show us. We love seeing all the variations.

Now go wear it. You made that.
