After sharing all the inspiration and team makes in last week’s Fabric Edit, it’s time to help you sew yours — gently, simply, and in small, manageable steps.
Let’s make this skirt feel… well… easy! I’ve broken it down into four bite-sized sewing sessions so you can enjoy the process without rushing or feeling overwhelmed. Whether you sew in the evenings, early mornings, or whenever you can claim a little pocket of time, you’ll be surprised by how quickly your Easy Does It Skirt sewing pattern comes to life.
In this post, you’ll find a free PDF download that walks you through each stage, from first steps to final press. Whether you sew a little each day or set aside a cosy weekend, this plan will keep you moving forward — and before you know it, your Easy Does It Skirt will be ready to wear.

Before you even touch your scissors, take a moment to settle in. Make a cuppa, find a cosy spot, and read through the info pages and sewing instructions. It’s a small pause, but it truly sets you up for a smooth, stress-free sew.
That’s why this is Session 1 — a little breathing space to get organised, understand the steps ahead, and feel confident before you begin.
Once you’ve done that, you’re ready to print, tape and cut your pieces… and your Easy Does It journey begins.
Let’s get started. Download your printable copy here.
