Description  

KIDS ARE CRAZY FOR POCKETS! Make your little one a pair of these Adventure Cargo Pants, with pockets and see how much they love them. They are perfect for hunting for & storing precious treasures.

Sew a pair of straight leg pants packed with pocket options.

There are also heaps of photos to guide you and the instructions are broken down into simple units to make them achievable by all. Along the way you'll also find tips to help you achieve a professional finish on your PE garment.

FEATURES  

First, you can choose from 3 different waistbands: 

  • Easy Pull-On Cargo Pants (or Shorts) with full elastic waistband.
  • Mock Fly Cargo Pants (or Shorts) with full elastic waistband.
  • Zip Fly Cargo Pants (or Shorts) with adjustable elastic back waistband.

 Then you can choose to add (or not) the following features:

  • Slimline or relaxed fit.
  • Front pockets.

SIZING  
  • Kids sizes 2-14. Includes all sizes.
  • View size chart here.
  • To determine size, measure around the hip/seat. This measurement is taken around the fullest part of the child's seat.
  • The tape measure should be firm but not tight.
FABRIC & TRIMS  
  • This pattern is designed for woven fabrics.

FABRIC SUGGESTIONS: include quilting cotton (some awesome boy prints out there), denim, chambray, tencel, cotton drill, corduroy. If you are using a heavy weight denim or corduroy , stick to the ‘slim fit’ option.

TRIMS:

  • Pull-On & Mock Fly styles - 20mm (3/4") elastic.
  • Zip Fly style - 20mm (3/4") adjustable/buttonhole elastic, 2 x 20mm (3/4") buttons, dress zip (equal to or longer than) size 2-7: 15cm (6") size 8-10: 18cm (7") size 12+: 20cm (8").
  • Tab Pockets & Pocket Flaps - 1 x 2cm (3/4") button for each tab or pocket flap.
