    Over sized

The cuffs around my wrist were so large they slip over my hand and the sleeves were way too long. Indi stitch sent me a very stretchy fabric that this cardi has no shape.

    Hi Kathy,

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on our Grab A Cuppa Cardigan. We appreciate your feedback and would like to highlight that the cardigan is intentionally designed with a gorgeously oversized fit, as mentioned in the product description on our website.

We understand that the cuffs around the wrists and the length of the sleeves may feel larger due to the oversized nature of the cardigan. This design is meant to provide a comfortable and relaxed loungewear style. Please refer to page 6 of the tutorial for advice on very stretchy fabrics & neckband requirements.

If you prefer a closer fit, we highly recommend checking out our Reconnect Cardi sewing pattern, which offers a more tailored silhouette. It might better suit your preferences for a snugger fit.

We value your input and are here to assist you with any questions or concerns. If there's anything else we can do to enhance your experience with our patterns, please let us know. We appreciate your support!

    Happy sewing,

    Grab a cuppa cardi

I made this cropped with buttons for my 16 year old daughter. I sized it acording to finished garment measurments. She loves it and is wearing it as much as possible. I have another one cut out for my daughter-in-law. It was quick and I want to make more.

    Very oversized cardi

A lovely pattern but it was not clear from the beginning just how oversized this cardigan is. I had to size down to a 4 for my daughter who is otherwise an 10!! Luckily the size 10 cardi can be worn by another daughter who is a regular size 16.
