PRINTING YOUR PDF SEWING PATTERNS.
At Pattern Emporium, most of our patterns include Print-at-Home, A0 Copy Shop, and Projector pattern files. Each listing specifies which formats are available for that particular pattern.
In each of our sewing pattern tutorials, you’ll find detailed information specific to that pattern's printing options.
1. Printer Settings. It's important to select the correct printer settings to ensure your pattern prints to the correct scale. You'll find printer specs in your tutorial &, for more detail, here on the website.
2. Page Printing Guide. You don’t need to print every page or size – just the ones you need. Our guide in the tutorial helps you identify exactly which pages to print.
3. Layout Summary. This shows what your print at home pattern will look like once assembled (taped together).
4. A0 Copy Shop Printing. What to ask for when printing at a copy shop. We recommend requesting plan printing and following the specs outlined above. Please note, printing at a copy shop is always going to be more expensive that printing at home.
For reliable A0 printing in Australia, we recommend Kristen at Dahlia Sewciety & Shelley at Plan Make Do.
In the United States, our customers recommend PDF Plotting.

Love all the different neckline options, the pattern instructions are really easy to follow
It’s a great easy to sew sweater. I used a polyester knit floral fabric with a contrast elastic band. The only part of the pattern I didn’t love is that the neck band is sewn in two pieces, joined at each shoulder seam, as I prefer a neck band sewn in one piece. The band seams are a little bumpy and don’t sit that well. This could be because of the thickness of the band. If it was sewn in one piece then I’m sure this wouldn’t be a problem.
After saying all this, once again PE has come up with another lovely pattern for us all to create amazing pieces 💕
Hi Sally, thank you for your thoughtful review! The neckband is designed with seams at the shoulders to help shape and contour it—without them, a band this wide would sit up rather than lay smoothly. That said, fabric thickness can definitely impact how it sits, and I love that you experimented with a contrast band. I’m so glad you’re enjoying another PE pattern—happy sewing!
My first Sweet Cheeks sweater is a fantastic success. I chose a sweater knit with contrast cuffs & hem, & neck band. Cropped length, round neck, with a detachable cowl for Canadian winter. Instructions made this a joy to sew, with a perfect result. I especially love the sleeve gathered into the cuff which makes for a pretty sweater for a nice change. Very flattering fit at the hips. Thanks Kate.
Love the V-neck, the split hem band and the moderate over size fit. Great pattern!
I will definitely itely be making heaps more as it is easy to sew, the instructions are clear.
