Fabric: Very lightweight rayon.
"For my second Spill the Tea Blouse I used this baby soft guava colored tissue rayon. It wrinkles easy but it’s worth it to show how fluid the tie and long sleeves [are]. I can see a lot of these in my future. I love the idea of layering this sleeve option with a sweater vest this fall!"

Terri: Glorious Design Elements

Terri: That Fabulous Bow!
Fabric: Cotton/polyester blend 'mystery fabric'
Worn with: Jeans
"I have a small roll of mystery cotton/poly fabric that was gifted to me a few years ago, and thought it was a good choice for a test run of this pattern during testing. I actually love how it turned out, and it *might* be my favorite. Be aware, though, that the extra body of this fabric made the length choice very tricky. So for all of us that like to go r
ogue with a less drapey fabric, this is your warning!"
- Size 14, graded to 26 hip
- FBA-2 Front (included)
- Gathered Back
- Tall top Length
- Cap sleeves
Katie: Tied Up in a Sweet Bow
Fabric: Fabric is rayon challis from Fabric Mart
"I love that Kate included differing tie lengths for extra personalization. I aimed for this one to be worn with the ties loose since challis is so fluttery, but it still ties in a sweet bow. Choices!"
- Size 6
- Gathered back
- Regular top length bodice

Katie: I can't imagine a better bow tie top!
Fabric: Linen/rayon noil from Fabric Mart
"I love the shape of the ties, and how there's nothing fussy about this blouse; it's wearable for everyday. She's easy to just pull-on like a tee and still have impact with that tie detail. This aqua is my favorite color to wear, and I'm just smitten!"
- Regular longer tie length
Alana: Looks tricky, but designed to be easy.
Fabric: Cotton voile from Japan
"This
was a very enjoyable sew. It’s what I like to call classic Kate - looks tricky, but designed to be easy. The inside finishing is just as lovely as the outside. I used a large print - I lined up the front pattern piece 1.5cm past the centre of the graphic - so when the front seam was sewn, the two halves of the graphic would be one whole."
- Size 18 FBA-1 (included)
- Tall length top
- Shortest tie length

Erin: So Stylish!
Fabric: Polyester
"Officially the most glamorous garment in my wardrobe, this gorgeous top is remarkably easy to put together and just so stylish.
The
