Refresh Ruched T-shirt | PDF Sewing Pattern

The Refresh Ruched T-Shirt lives up to its name — it takes a classic fitted tee and gives it a fresh, versatile update. Adjustable ruching at the sides (drawstring or elastic, you choose) means you can play with length and shape to suit your outfit.

With four necklines — crew, mid, low, and V — plus five sleeve options from cap to full circle flounce, you can sew a version for every season. The fit skims the body without clinging, and the three lengths — cropped, regular, and long — offer even more ways to wear it.

We recommend using 4-way stretch knit fabric with good recovery & containing lycra, spandex or elastane. Horizontal stretch: Min 40%+. Vertical stretch: Min 20%+.

BANDS: The neck band fabric MUST contain elastane, spandex or Lycra or it will stretch out of shape when stretched. If your fabric narrows when you stretch it, chances are it doesn't have elastane & won't be suitable. 

FABRIC SUGGESTIONS: Bamboo Elastane, Cotton Lycra, Crepe knit, Cupro spandex, Double brushed poly (DBP), ITY, Liverpool, Modal elastane, Soft poly elastane knits, Rayon elastane, Scuba, Single brushed poly (SBP), Viscose Elastane.
