The Cream Edit | Sewing Pattern Inspo

There’s something about cream, white, ivory and soft neutrals that makes a handmade wardrobe feel instantly fresh.

They’re quiet colours, but they do a lot of work. A simple cream top can make denim feel more polished. A white shirt can lift a favourite print. A matching neutral set can look beautifully put together while still feeling completely effortless.

For this Colour Edit, I’ve pulled together some gorgeous cream and light neutral makes from our testers and community to give you a little inspiration for your own sewing plans.

Happy sewing!

If there’s a piece of pale fabric sitting in your stash because it feels a little too precious, too pale or far too easy to spill coffee on, consider this your nudge.

Pick a pattern you already love and give it a go. You might be surprised by just how much wear it gets.
