Great pattern, brilliant instructions. Dart placement a bit too high.

As always, excellent pattern with brilliant instructions.

Love the projector files, so well placed and large text, which makes it easy to read.

I found the dart placement quite high. I compared its placement to several off the shelf tops that are pretty much exactly the same and the darts sit at least 2cm lower.

Will definitely make this shirt again but will lower the dart.

Hi Helen. Thank you for your thoughtful review! I’m glad you enjoyed the pattern and found the projector files helpful. Just a note, there are instructions for adjusting dart placement on page 48, as everyone’s fit is a little different. I’m so happy to hear you’ll be making the shirt again! Happy sewing!

Love this design. I like all of the top stitching, especially on the neck facings. The hem facing is a nice feature, adding a little weight to my slightly sheer fabric. The back button was easy to add. And those gorgeous sleeves...
I found the instructions well-written and it was a reasonably easy sew but I took extra time over the details to get a nice finish.
Size: My upper bust measurement is size 10 with all other measurements in the size 12 range. I made a straight size 10, regular length and it's wearable but a bit too roomy for my liking. (I'm 160cm (5'2") tall but with a longish torso and the regular length worked for me.) I'll go down to size 8 for the next one.

My absolute favourite top

I just love this top for its ease of sewing, many variations and a beautifully drafted pattern. Very easy to follow directions, everything about this make is divine. I have several tops now and I'm planning on making it into a part of a formal two piece outfit in silk for my sons wedding - very happy PE customer

Gorgeous top

I bought this pattern mainly because of the sleeves - which are fabulous - but the body is actually more flattering than I expected. It sews together easily, especially when you cut the front on the fold and skip the button and loop at the back like I did! I love that there are different necklines to choose from. I found that, although my measurements indicated I don’t need the FBA, the front hem pulled up a bit so am making my second top with the FBA version.
