Add A Cap Sleeve to the All In Shirt

AMANDA’S PATTERN MASH: Amanda has used the Spill The Tea shirt cap sleeve with the All-In Shirt Dress. It’s sewn in black linen and finished with contrasting white topstitching. The result: a fantastic urban look that doubles as the perfect holiday cover-up.

HOW AMANDA DID IT

Amanda sewed the All-In Shirt Dress as instructed, up to the point of adding the sleeves.

Instead of using the All-In shirt sleeve, she constructed the cap sleeve following the instructions in the Spill The Tea Popover Top (you can also use the cap sleeve from the About Town Popover), then inserted it into the All-In armhole.

That’s it. No changes to the armhole or sleeve are needed. Simple and straightforward.
