Full Tummy Adjustment
A full tummy adjustment adds a little extra room through the front of your garment if it’s a little tight through the stomach area. It can help alleviate a high-low hemline too.
The following full tummy adjustment process was written for the Pattern Emporium Besties Tee to add a little length to the front when worn.
There are several ways you can achieve a full tummy adjustment that produce similar results. As this is a flared garment with straight side seams, I’d take the simplest route - i have outlined this in the download below.
Note, this adjustment is only on the front. Ensure you have the waist marked on the pattern.
We recommend still multi-sizing your Besties if your upper bust & hip/seat size are different as outlined on page 4. Then adding this adjustment afterwards.
