PRINTING YOUR PDF SEWING PATTERNS.
At Pattern Emporium, most of our patterns include Print-at-Home, A0 Copy Shop, and Projector pattern files. Each listing specifies which formats are available for that particular pattern.
In each of our sewing pattern tutorials, you’ll find detailed information specific to that pattern's printing options.
1. Printer Settings. It's important to select the correct printer settings to ensure your pattern prints to the correct scale. You'll find printer specs in your tutorial &, for more detail, here on the website.
2. Page Printing Guide. You don’t need to print every page or size – just the ones you need. Our guide in the tutorial helps you identify exactly which pages to print.
3. Layout Summary. This shows what your print at home pattern will look like once assembled (taped together).
4. A0 Copy Shop Printing. What to ask for when printing at a copy shop. We recommend requesting plan printing and following the specs outlined above. Please note, printing at a copy shop is always going to be more expensive that printing at home.
For reliable A0 printing in Australia, we recommend Kristen at Dahlia Sewciety & Shelley at Plan Make Do.
In the United States, our customers recommend PDF Plotting.

I am fairly new to PE.
and I must say the patterns seem to suit my body shape .
Just a fwd shoulder adjustment, which I do on all patterns.
In 5 ft tall so have been removing 1/2 inch from bodice which has worked well.
Used my overlocker for the gathering, love this method.
Used elastic to stabilised the waist.
Put bands on the cropped bishop sleeve, not a fan of elastic cuffs . Didn’t shorten the sleeve but I like the finished length.
By now I have made already several dresses from this pattern, all, even the toil, turned out great. I'm quite a newbie in sewing, but it was very easy to make and they indeed are very comfortable and look beautiful. Made for my mom and that was literally the first thing she said when she put it on - the most comfortable dress she has ever owned.
I love this dress, made Size 12 long sleeves flare top and size 10 elbow length sleeves tapered bodice. love them both, size 10 fits best, both mid necklines my Size 10 I made the neckband wider as I like more coverage on shoulders, am so looking forward to the woven fabric pattern being released. I do love the easy fit style. thanks.
I made this dress & loved it from the start. Great fit, so comfy! I would have like it al little longer but did not have the fabric but next time I will do that.
I really don't know how to write this without sounding like I've had a back-hander... Believe me, I haven't. When I saw Kate's pre-release video I almost watched the countdown clock until I was able to buy it. I had it printed and made faster than any other pattern I've bought.
I first cut a size 12 and at 5'2" all of the longest pieces equate to maxi length for me. I love the dress, but thought I could size down a one, so next one I made was a 10, beautiful, really happy, but then made an 8 perfect! So even though I have it in the 3 sizes, they all look great they really do. I've never had so many compliments. Kate's instructions are so clear and easy to follow. - you really can't go wrong. I took my dresses on a staycation here. in the UK and I lost. count of all of the lovely comments that I got - one lady told me on day 5 that she was waiting to see what I would be wearing (how great that made me feel) Have to add that I pretty much exclusively wore PE garments on my hols. I'm certainly no expert, but managed to make really wearable dresses that really do look shop bought, so so pleased.
