Ladies’ Harem Pants Sewing Pattern

If you live for comfort, then this loose-fitting outfit is a must-do project, especially with the summer months ahead. When making yourself these, you will enjoy just how fast they are to sew and how easily they come together.

Genie pants patterns are in vogue

This intention of this trouser is no longer purely just for the hippie, boho look that they have always been synonymous for, they have become part of women's everyday wardrobe. They offer a chic, fun, practical, relaxed, and sexy style. Although, the look you emulate is very much dependent on the type of material you use - from fun, bold fabric to something more subtle, and what you choose to wear with them.

This is just one of our top-rated Harem Pants sewing pattern series, which have continued to hold the #1 spot since their release because they are simple to sew, fit well and are incredibly versatile. We love that this design can be worn casually with joggers, as pyjamas at any time of the year or formally for a night out; and that they are suitable for novices or the more experienced to make.

  • Size 6-18.
  • Hip/Seat Measurement 85-117cm (33.5-46").

PRINTING YOUR PDF SEWING PATTERNS.

At Pattern Emporium, most of our patterns include Print-at-Home, A0 Copy Shop, and Projector pattern files. Each listing specifies which formats are available for that particular pattern.

In each of our sewing pattern tutorials, you’ll find detailed information specific to that pattern's printing options.

1. Printer Settings. It's important to select the correct printer settings to ensure your pattern prints to the correct scale. You'll find printer specs in your tutorial &, for more detail, here on the website.

2. Page Printing Guide. You don’t need to print every page or size – just the ones you need. Our guide in the tutorial helps you identify exactly which pages to print.

3. Layout Summary. This shows what your print at home pattern will look like once assembled (taped together).

4. A0 Copy Shop Printing. What to ask for when printing at a copy shop. We recommend requesting plan printing and following the specs outlined above. Please note, printing at a copy shop is always going to be more expensive that printing at home.

For reliable A0 printing in Australia, we recommend Kristen at Dahlia Sewciety & Shelley at Plan Make Do.

In the United States, our customers recommend PDF Plotting.

Harem Pants

This is the first PE pattern I have made and I was blown away with the great fit and easy to follow, but comprehensive, instructions. I will be making more of these pants.

On the fence

I was on the fence about getting the harem pants as I have the pleats to meet you. I bought some Baltic fabric on a trip & I then knew I needed the Harem Pants. I am so glad I did buy the pattern they are so comfortable to wear. I did find the instructions a bit tricky though flipping back & forth between pages.

Harem Pants Ladies

Great pattern, I adjusted - as per instructions - to make wider legs as I like a baggy look. Added pockets and put on a yoga waistband. With such great tutorials that come with PE patterns makes me go out of my comfort zone to add different pockets and bands. Thank you.
