Downloading Your Tutorial or Sewing Pattern to iPhone or iPad
Follow the steps below to download your tutorial and/or pdf sewing pattern directly to your phone or tablet.

If you'd like to print your pdf pattern from your phone or tablet, iPad or chromebook, we recommend downloading the Sewsy app from the App Store. See Step 7 for more.
What we'll cover below:
Steps 1-2: Accessing your Pattern Library.
Steps 3-5: Downloading to your phone/tablet.
Step 6: Saving the tutorial to the Books app (optional).
Step 7: Printing via the Sewsy App.
STEP 1:
Sign in to your account on the website. Then, from the menu, select 'Download My Patterns'.
This will take you to your accounts page where you will see your orders.
At the very top, select the big pink button to enter your pattern library.
STEP 2:
You have entered your pattern library. Here you will see all of your purchased patterns listed alphabetically.
Scroll or search for a pattern. When using the search bar, it's best to just use one word. Eg. Town for the About Town Popover. Select it.
STEP 3:
Now that you've selected a pattern, you will see the tutorial & pattern files. You may also see a 'read me' file.
On the right you'll see download buttons next to each file.
Select the one you want to download. In this example, I've selected the About Town tutorial file - the 2nd one in this list.
STEP 4:
Select save. If asked, save it to your preferred option. I save to Files.
STEP 5:
Select open. On your screen you'll see the first page of the file you've downloaded.
STEP 6 (OPTIONAL):
TUTORIAL FILES: You can read the tutorial from your files app or, on iphone/ipad save it to the Books App. Here's how to do that.
Select the square with the arrow, top right.
Scroll to the right until you see 'More'. Select 'More'.
Scroll down until you see the Books app. Select it.
Your tutorial file is now in the Books app. Scroll through. Whether you've saved it to your Books app or it's in your Files app, you won't need to download again. It'll always be there reading to help with your next sewing project.
STEP 7:
PRINTING PATTERN FILES: If you're printing from your phone or tablet, download the Sewsy app from the App Store.
Created specifically for digital sewing patterns, Sewsy helps you:
• print at the correct scale
• turn layers on and off to print only the sizes you need
Mobile versions of Adobe Reader don’t currently support PDF layers, so Sewsy makes printing much easier on phones and tablets.
Tip: Your downloaded files are usually saved in the Files app → Downloads folder unless you choose another location.
To print a print-at-home pattern, open the Sewsy App & select your downloaded pattern file.
You will be able to see all the pdf files you downloaded to your 'Files' app on your phone. If there's too many, use the search bar. Select the pattern you want to print.
Select 'Layers' bottom left to hide the sizes you don't need.
Remember to refer to the Page Print Guide in your tutorial as you don't need to print every page.
