    Coastal Side Split

The instructions and the fit are spot on. I was inspired by one of your viewers, her name I can’t recall. She converted the Coastal into a shorter version. That story inspired me to make two short versions, with one having a split in the back. Thanks for your wonderful patterns. Karen

    Coastal Comfort

My very first Pattern Emporium garment was the Coastal Side Split skirt. I made the double split version in rayon, and it is the first garment I have made for myself in years.

The tutorial was the most comprehensive I have seen and the sizing was perfect.

I swore off skirts years ago thinking they didn’t flatter me, but the photos of so many women all looking fabulous in this skirt inspired me to give it a go.

I love it, - it is so flattering, and I have purchased fabric to make another two.
