PANTS PATTERN ADJUSTMENTS : ADJUSTING FOR HIP DIP

PROBLEM: Horizontal crotch lines.

Your pants fit everywhere beautifully except for horizontal lines at the front crotch.

I am one of those people that gets these lines. My dominant weight position is right below my knickers line on my thigh. If you have this, it’s why your legs may look shorter than they are.

SOLUTION: This is an easily fixed problem but needs to be done at pattern stage. It’s just a little tight through the lower hip/upper thigh. Simply add a tiny bit on through the hips.

HOW TO ADJUST: This adjustment is done on your fit garment & then transferred to your pattern.
