PRINTING YOUR PDF SEWING PATTERNS.
At Pattern Emporium, most of our patterns include Print-at-Home, A0 Copy Shop, and Projector pattern files. Each listing specifies which formats are available for that particular pattern.
In each of our sewing pattern tutorials, you’ll find detailed information specific to that pattern's printing options.
1. Printer Settings. It's important to select the correct printer settings to ensure your pattern prints to the correct scale. You'll find printer specs in your tutorial &, for more detail, here on the website.
2. Page Printing Guide. You don’t need to print every page or size – just the ones you need. Our guide in the tutorial helps you identify exactly which pages to print.
3. Layout Summary. This shows what your print at home pattern will look like once assembled (taped together).
4. A0 Copy Shop Printing. What to ask for when printing at a copy shop. We recommend requesting plan printing and following the specs outlined above. Please note, printing at a copy shop is always going to be more expensive that printing at home.
For reliable A0 printing in Australia, we recommend Kristen at Dahlia Sewciety & Shelley at Plan Make Do.
In the United States, our customers recommend PDF Plotting.

Well at least it’s cut out, not yet sewn of course! Generous sized!
What a beautiful simplistic pattern, it's going to be my Summer staple.
Still haven’t bothered to print it out..64 pages…that is quite excessive in my opinion…
Thank you for your feedback. We understand that the number of pages can feel overwhelming at first, but our tutorial includes a printing guide that lets you print only the pages needed for your specific size and style, so you don’t need to print the entire pattern. For example, a size 14 with regular hem is about 17 pages to print. We also include separate pieces for both 2 and 3 size full bust adjustments (FBA) for those who need them. These are on seperate pages & are, of course, optional to print.
For a more paperless option, we also provide a projector file. We hope this helps make the process easier, and if you decide to give it a try, we’d love to hear how it goes!
My practice piece went so good I had fun. Usually I stress when sewing. The video on the binding was a great help. Although I got the neck binding on inside out. Still wearable I will be making more. Thank you
Thanks for your wonderful review! We're thrilled you had fun with the Rise & Shine Sleeveless Top. Oops on the neck binding, but hey, it happens to all of us sometimes & it sounds like you still rocked it! Can't wait to hear about your next sew! Kate :)
I haven’t made it yet.
