PRINTING YOUR PDF SEWING PATTERNS.

At Pattern Emporium, most of our patterns include Print-at-Home, A0 Copy Shop, and Projector pattern files. Each listing specifies which formats are available for that particular pattern.

In each of our sewing pattern tutorials, you’ll find detailed information specific to that pattern's printing options.

1. Printer Settings. It's important to select the correct printer settings to ensure your pattern prints to the correct scale. You'll find printer specs in your tutorial &, for more detail, here on the website.

2. Page Printing Guide. You don’t need to print every page or size – just the ones you need. Our guide in the tutorial helps you identify exactly which pages to print.

3. Layout Summary. This shows what your print at home pattern will look like once assembled (taped together).

4. A0 Copy Shop Printing. What to ask for when printing at a copy shop. We recommend requesting plan printing and following the specs outlined above. Please note, printing at a copy shop is always going to be more expensive that printing at home.

For reliable A0 printing in Australia, we recommend Kristen at Dahlia Sewciety & Shelley at Plan Make Do.

In the United States, our customers recommend PDF Plotting.

I love that you have multiple sizes available especially for Woven fabric clothing.
I’m yet to make this but have found my fabric suitable in my stash. Thank you for the wonderful patterns you create.

Coastal Side Split Skirt.

I have only just discovered PE patterns and this is my first make. I LOVE IT. Easy to make, good instructions. I altered the split length slightly just my preference . I have already cut out another one to take on holiday.

Surprised!

I wasn't at all sure about the style for me, but I love it. Easy make, usual excellent instructions. I'm 173cms tall and made the maxi length which came up just right at a long midi length.

I'm so glad to hear the style won you over Sharon! Thank you for your review. Enjoy your new skirt!

Great looking slit

Love the neat slit but the elasticated waist is not for me. I changed it to add a few darts and zipper

Coastal Side Split

The instructions and the fit are spot on. I was inspired by one of your viewers, her name I can’t recall. She converted the Coastal into a shorter version. That story inspired me to make two short versions, with one having a split in the back. Thanks for your wonderful patterns. Karen
