To determine size, measure around the hip/seat. This measurement is taken around the fullest part of the child's seat. The tape measure should be firm but not tight.

FABRIC & TRIM OUTLINE:
- All Styles: 20mm (3/4") elastic for back waist.
- Bound Jean-style Pockets (Style A): 18-20mm (3/4") bias binding.
- Mock Flap Pockets (Style B) : 2 x 20-30mm (3/4-1 1/8") buttons.
FABRIC SUGGESTIONS: Quilting cotton, denim (yoke only), cotton sateen, voile, chambray, tencel, linen.
The gorgeous prints available to you in quilting cotton ranges is endless. These can be used for both the yoke & ruffle skirt sections. Denim can also be use for the yoke. Mix and match your prints with contrast binding & details.
FABRIC REQUIREMENTS: The following table outlines fabric requirements based on 110cm (44") fabric.
Please note: (1) The estimates below do not include directional fabrics. I recommend you cut out the pattern & lay the pieces down on a flat surface to help estimate fabric needs for directional fabric. (2) If you are sewing with rayon, remember to allow for shrinkage & buy a little extra. (3) Also it’s wise to pre-wash your fabrics, in particular rayon.
