This pattern is easy to follow with thorough instructions. The fit is really nice with lots of options for variations. Love it.
I made a toile using my measured size and found the flare a little too much for me. I graded to a smaller size at the hem to skim the hips. I extended the length by 5cm (2in) as I am quite tall in the torso. Love the options for necklines and sleeves. A definite must-have pattern and wardrobe staple. I have made a few banded besties for winter which are so comfy. Pattern is quick and easy to sew up (can cut and sew up in under an hour).
I just finished my first Besties Tee and I am very impressed. My favourite feature is how many options you have to customise your garment. I chose mid neck, sleeveless, flared long top for regular height and I'm very happy with the fit. The notches on the armbands give a great fit around the underarm.
I just made my first Bestie. It is just such a wonderful fit on me. Love the medium neckline. I made a separate funnel neck to go with it for the fall from my scraps.
I started off making the banded version, but when I tried it on, I just loved the movement of the flare. I did not need an FBA. I widened the sleeve by 2 cm.
I am going to make a banded version next with long sleeves and a funnel neck. It looks rather easy to draw and sew up that kind of collar. And I also want to try colour blocking on another. There's so much you can do with this pattern. Really enjoying this pattern.
Favorite Tee Pattern!
Love this pattern. It’s my go to for t-shirts for both me and my mom. Great fit. Love all the different sleeve lengths although the cap sleeve is my personal favorite. Both flared and banded are super flattering and easy to wear. Works with so many different fabric bases as well. Can’t go wrong with this one!
