Sewing Butterflies

This is a quick sew 2 hours to done. I made a size 24 but could have sized down to 20 for a closer fit.

Hi Lara. Thank you for your review! Sewing something up in two hours—now that’s a win! And isn’t it the best part of sewing for yourself? You get to play with the fit exactly how you like it. Happy sewing, and enjoy making more Chasing Butterflies! Kate x

Chasing Butterflies

Finally got to sew this top up with a textured sweater knit from JoAnne’s. Probably not the best fabric for this top because it barely has any vertical stretch. Because of this it seems a little tight in the hips even though I graded from an 18 to a 22. Directions were fantastic and the information on the kinds of fabrics to use very helpful. I want to try it with a 4 way stretch now. Ready for Colorado’s fall temperatures.
