Printing your A0 sewing pattern at a copy shop

Most Pattern Emporium sewing patterns include 3 formats - print at home, A0 copy shop & projector.

Whether you're printing at home or at a copy shop, many times you don't have to print all the pages - so it's important to check the tutorial first.

Can't decide which printing method is for you?

  • More time, less money to spend > print at home.
  • Less time, more money to spend > print at a copy shop. 

 REMEMBER the following:

  • Read your tutorial before printing so you know what to ask for.
  • If you can, use a recommended or experiences pdf pattern copy shop.
  • You often don't need to print every page.
  • You don't need to print every size. 
  • You can't save individual layers in Adobe Reader. You'll need to contact your print store with this information.

 What to ask for:

  • Program: Adobe Reader.
  • Paper: A0 - Plan Printing
  • Colour or b/w: Either.
  • Layers: Yes - this means you can select your size(s) but make sure they have the info layer turned on (note, you'll likely need to speak to them re: layers).
  • Page size & handling: Do not scale. Print at actual size or 100%. See printer setup image below and in most tutorials. Click on it to open in seperate page. 
  • YOU DO NOT ALWAYS HAVE TO PRINT EVERY PAGE - Check your tutorial.
