For the neckline (wide binding) you will need 4-way stretch knits with elastane (lycra/spandex).

FABRIC SUGGESTIONS: Sew in bamboo, modal or rayon based knits for a gorgeously drapey or floppy t-shirt. For more body or structure, sew on in cotton lycra or French terry. Go soft & snuggly with double brushed poly (DBP) or an Alpine knit that's soft & furry on the inside.

Carefree Cuffed Tee is a great wardrobe staple.

Like all the Pattern Emporium patterns I've made, the style is timely, and the directions are great! Plus you have the wonderful support group on the PE Facebook page! I made my top out of bamboo lycra. It feels so good on. The only note - it is generous in size. I did go down one size from my measurements because I knew it was not fitted, but with the fabric I chose, I could have gone down an additional size. My own fault for not measuring a similar Tee I had in my closet. I do love this pattern and style and will be making many more!

Quick and easy

I made the Carefree Cuffed Tee in a 180 gsm cotton lycra. I made it with the normal cuff and in my usual size. It's not super baggy but next time I will go down a size. It's a very comfortable tee!
