TESTER PICS - Take a look at our creative teams sews all in one place.

We know you’ll appreciate the versatility of this design as one of its best features is the choice of textiles you can use. Essentially, there isn't a right or wrong choice because it works in both 2-way & 4-way stretch, making it ideally suited for every season.

You will soon discover that everything about the Unwind is relaxed: the fit, the cuffs and the hem band. It's designed to hang and move freely on the body, unlike the more hugging band styles with which you may be more familiar.

Great pattern

I have sewed two unwinds. I sized down for the second as suggested as a possibility by Kate and I'm much happier with that one. I plan to make some more. Fabric choice like always is important and mmy second was made with an extremely soft velvety cotton which is lovely to wear. It doesn't have lots of stretch but enough. I recommend this pattern highly but in my view it's important to size down, if only at the neckline, to stabilise the fit on your body.

Thank you for your review Maree. We're so glad you had a great experience sewing the Unwind pattern. We appreciate your feedback and love that you were able to adjust the size to your liking - that's one of the best things about sewing for yourself! Happy sewing!

Easy and stylish

The unwind sweater was an easy sew, but I had to size it down once I made it because it ran bigger than the sizing chart. I will make many more, now that I have the sizing figured out.

Hi Esther,
Please reach out in the group if you ever need assistance with sizing.
Best regards,
Kate

Unwind

I do love this! It runs a bit large for me, and as Kate mentions - stretch is important! However, since my first was a bit large and my fabric had minimum stretch, it worked out!
