This Ladies Tiered Maxi Skirt features 3 lightly gathered rows on a shaped flat front waistband and a shirred elastic back waistband ensuring an easy fit. It is designed to sit comfortably on the lower waist but can be comfortably worn higher or lower if you wish.

To determine size, measure around the hip/seat, 20cm (8") below the natural waist. The tape measure should be firm but not tight.

Tiered Maxi Skirt

The pattern was good and well explained. My only complaint is that it was described as gently flared but I found it to be more flared than I would have liked.

Another fantastic pattern!

Such an easy pattern to follow whilst also learning a new skill, shirring and with success! I will go down a size next time as skirt was generous enough to size down for my shape.

Simple and striking

Easy to follow pattern that produces a stunning skirt. Do the shirring, it gives the skirt such a great finish!

Not just rectangles and an elastic band

I love the waistband on this. The flat front piece holds my tummy in a bit while giving lots of flexibility with the shiirred back. The gathers really are barely there which is a nice subtlety.
