This Ladies Tiered Maxi Skirt features 3 lightly gathered rows on a shaped flat front waistband and a shirred elastic back waistband ensuring an easy fit. It is designed to sit comfortably on the lower waist but can be comfortably worn higher if you wish.

Not just rectangles and an elastic band
I love the waistband on this. The flat front piece holds my tummy in a bit while giving lots of flexibility with the shiirred back. The gathers really are barely there which is a nice subtlety.
