FABRIC: This pattern is designed for 4-way stretch knit fabrics only. This means that your fabric needs elastane (lycra/spandex) & good resilience (the stretch bounces back well).

THICK FABRICS* highlighted above aren't suitable for the gathered skirt.

SEWING WITH RIB KNIT: This pattern was not designed with rib knit in mind. Be aware that it stretches more & wears larger on the body than other fabrics. I don't recommend it for this pattern unless you're an experience rib knit user & know how to adjust a pattern accordingly.
