Great pattern
I made two of these skirts for my daughter, and one for me. We love how they fit - not too bunchy at the waistline, but very flowy. This is my second PE pattern and I love how thorough the directions are. I really appreciate how you break down every step with such clarity. It helps the finished garment turn out well, and makes the sewing experience more pleasant.
Susan, we're thrilled that you both love the fit and flow of the skirts. Thanks for your kind words about our instructions!
Love this pattern. I have made 2 skirts & have fabric for a third. Goes together so well.
I haven’t had time to see yet but it looks great
This was my first foray into pattern emporium patterns & definitely won’t be the last.
I made this twice. First in a lovely rayon i had in my stash. I made it with a single side leg split and a decorative tie. With pockets which I enlarged a bit to get along better with my phone. In the maxi length, tall. It flows so beautifully, i absolutely love it!
The second one i made about thumb length to wear around home on those stinking hot days. Made that one out of a batik from my stash. In hindsight, the batik has too much body for the extra short length, but i’m sure it’ll soften up after a few washes. Live and learn! Added pockets to that one as well. It was very easy to adjust the pattern for such a short length.
Super impressed with the pattern and instructions. I have no doubt I’ll be making it a few more times.
