PRINTING YOUR PDF SEWING PATTERNS.

At Pattern Emporium, most of our patterns include Print-at-Home, A0 Copy Shop, and Projector pattern files. Each listing specifies which formats are available for that particular pattern.

In each of our sewing pattern tutorials, you’ll find detailed information specific to that pattern's printing options.

1. Printer Settings. It's important to select the correct printer settings to ensure your pattern prints to the correct scale. You'll find printer specs in your tutorial &, for more detail, here on the website.

2. Page Printing Guide. You don’t need to print every page or size – just the ones you need. Our guide in the tutorial helps you identify exactly which pages to print.

3. Layout Summary. This shows what your print at home pattern will look like once assembled (taped together).

4. A0 Copy Shop Printing. What to ask for when printing at a copy shop. We recommend requesting plan printing and following the specs outlined above. Please note, printing at a copy shop is always going to be more expensive that printing at home.

For reliable A0 printing in Australia, we recommend Kristen at Dahlia Sewciety & Shelley at Plan Make Do.

In the United States, our customers recommend PDF Plotting.

Not really happy

I am finding it very hard to get the pattern printed in the format needed. In Australia it's not a common day thing, and where I have found a place to get the pattern printed the cost is astronomical..it would cost me up to $60au.
So, unfortunately I don't think that I will be purchasing any further patterns.

Hi Wendy. Thank you for your feedback. I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with printing. We provide detailed information on downloading and printing under the 'Downloading & Printing' tab on each pattern listing, including reliable A0 printing options for Australia, such as Kristen at Dahlia Sewciety and Shelley at Plan Make Do. If you’d like some extra guidance, feel free to reach out in our Facebook group—we’d be happy to help make the process easier for you!

Love! Love! Love! This company pattern is great but the way you get it, is so great I wish all Patterns were like this. It’s a PDF and it’s in layers so you only print off what size you need! great instructions

Love this Pattern

I made this in a size down as I don’t like things too loose. I did the medium neckline and the full bust option. The fit was fantastic, and probably the first time not having to do adjustments to the fit of a garment. I have made 2 so far and will definitely be making more.

Hi Elaine. It’s great to hear how much you’re loving the Be Mine Top! Two already is such a great start—I’m sure there’ll be plenty more in your future. Happy sewing! -Kate

My favourite blouse ever

What's in the pattern" was so inspiring. I've made 2 linen ones & a cotton one. I love them so much that I wear them constantly. This, as many other PE patterns, allows a top to sit about the waist with pants or a skirt & look flattering. I am short so I can look dumpy & frumpy if I'm not careful. Truly elegant sleeves, with a main body that is roomy but slim at the same time. Love it.

Thank you for your lovely review Sue! I’m so glad the 'What’s In The Pattern' inspired you, and it’s wonderful to hear how much you’re enjoying your Be Mine Tops. It sounds like you’ve found the perfect balance of style and comfort—happy sewing! Kate
