FABRIC: This pattern is designed for 4-way stretch knit fabrics only. This means that your fabric needs elastane (lycra/spandex) & good resilience (the stretch bounces back well).

SEWING WITH RIB KNIT: This pattern was not designed with rib knit in mind. Be aware that it stretches more & wears larger on the body than other fabrics. I don't recommend it for this pattern unless you're an experience rib knit user & know how to adjust a pattern accordingly.

PATTERN HACKING: Prefer bands? It's so easy to convert.

1. NECKLINES: Adjust the front & back necklines by drawing in a new neckline, 7mm (1/4”) in from current neckline. 
2. Transfer any notches onto the new neckline positions.
3. Trim along the new front & back necklines.
4. ARMHOLES: Repeat Steps 1-3 on the front & back armholes.
5. BANDS: Reduce the depth of the neck binding pattern piece by 2cm (3/4”). Your pattern piece will now measure 4.3cm (1 3/4”) wide.
6. Sew up bands & attach as you usually would.
