Amazing!!!

I never thought I’d feel comfortable in a fitted dress but I took the plunge and made a test fit and fell head over heels in love!!! I made two more straight away and feel like I could wear one everyday!! Absolutely beautiful pattern!!

The perfect dress for celebrating in style

I just love the Going Places dress. An Audrey Hepburn style boat neckline and that gorgeous strappy back were just impossible to pass up. Plus it’s a PE pattern, so you know it is easy to follow, has tonnes of tips and tricks, and options galore. I wanted to cover my arms without covering the dress, so I made a stretch lace Hello Gorgeous to wear underneath. I’ve also worn a plain black bamboo Keep It Simple Babe underneath. I plan on making many more. If you don’t have this pattern, believe me: you need it!

Perfect holiday dress!

I made this as a cocktail dress for a holiday party. I paired the boatneck with the fitted silhouette for a timeless, classy look. The optional flounce and the open back detail gives it just a little extra flirt and glam. I received so many compliments! (and I was able to wear a regular bra that stayed covered with the wide straps)

I love PE Patterns. I get such a great fit and the tutorials are full of helpful info. It was super easy to make and the binding method wasn’t intimidating at all- I didn’t need anything but my sewing machine! 👍🏻
